Recently been and gone:

Thursday 26th March - Robbie Moore MP

Robbie is the Conservative MP for Keighley and Ilkley, and has been an MP continually since 12 December 2019. He currently undertakes the role of Shadow Minister (Environment, Food and Rural Affairs)

15 January - Charlie Giffard, Chillington Estate

Charlie will explain the challenges of taking over and running an historic estate in the 21st Century along with the diversification projects underway and planned for the estate

4 December - Members' night with local farmers Lowri Wright, James Mansell and Andrew Court talking about their roads into farming, their businesses and their aspirations

6 November - AGM and the evening's speaker Hayden Wooley.

Hayden farms 4000 low-input ewes on parkland near Bridgnorth.  He switched to wool-shedding sheep in 2015 and started a genetics project in 2020, selecting for low-methane and low-labour traits.  He's now selling stock under the name Low Carbon Footprint Lamb UK

The BADG has over 100 members and aims to help local people to learn, and to socialise.

New members are always welcome to join at their first meeting.  Annual membership is £20.
